Clarkson Research Services provide a statistical and research service to Clarkson, its clients and the shipping world in general. Its large research team compiles and interprets data on the world's cargo and offshore fleets of over 25,000 vessels on a daily basis, including technical features, freight rates, ship prices and cargo/economic statistics. Research into commercially important aspects of key sectors of shipping is carried out by staff appropriately qualified to assist in the industry's decision-making process. As well as providing Clarkson's brokers with an extensive and up to the minute flow of data to support their negotiations, Clarkson Research Services supplies quality market intelligence to shipping, banking and investment interests all over the world.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our shop, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" on the left hand side of the screen. You will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit card payment by Visa, Access/Mastercard, American Express, and Switch. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
If the order is for electronic data this will be dispatched to the specified delivery email address.
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail detailing what you have purchased and informing you of your order number for future reference.

Delivery Schedule

Dependent on availability, orders will be dispatched during the next working day. Data Orders are dispatched by email to the delivery email address..

Viewing Cart/Duplicate Orders. To view what you have currently ordered, simply click on the "View Cart" button on the left-hand side of your screen. This screen will show you what you have ordered as well as giving you the option to edit or remove products from your cart. For Example, if you have accidentally order the same product twice, it is quick and easy to rectify your mistake.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

VAT applicable to all UK clients plus EU Countries that do not supply their TVA/BTW/MOMS/MWST/IVA/FPA number. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero .

Credit Card Security

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet.

Our shop uses a bank approved security system which encrypts your credit card details. Your details will not be decrypted until the order is downloaded on our system.
